ODIN Maskinfabrik is changing its name to ODIN Engineering

On 14 May, we are changing our name to ODIN Engineering. Our new name reflects the fact that ODIN has always been much more than a machine factory.

ODIN is a solid business with a loyal customer base. But to maintain a strong position in a competitive and increasingly global market, it is important to continue to develop.

“We have produced high-quality, Danish-made solutions since 1961, and that is a heritage we are proud of. But to continue this heritage into the future, we need to stay aware of our relationship with the market. The increasing global competition forces us to focus actively on who we are, what we are capable of, and how we make a difference”, says Mads S. Rasmussen, CEO of ODIN Engineering A/S.

Demand for Danish solutions
Customers such as the Danish wind turbine industry, National Oilwell Varco, CP Kelco and Alfa Laval emphasise that there is still room for a Danish developer and manufacturer of business-critical custom machinery in the tough global market.

From 14 May, however, it will be under a new name. As Mads S. Rasmussen comments:

“Until recently, we were known as ODIN Maskinfabrik. But we are much more than a machine factory that produces workpieces from specific drawings. We are a team of expert engineers who work together to develop well thought-out, high-quality solutions. The change of name to ODIN Engineering is therefore a natural consequence of becoming more aware of the value we provide. Our solutions are more than the sum of the individual machine parts, and our new name reflects that perfectly.”
