ODIN Engineering supplies electricity and coffee for EV drivers

In the first half of 2022, ODIN’s three new charging stations for electric cars have delivered 37,046 kWh and a cup of coffee has been drunk for every 118 kWh.

In autumn 2021, ODIN Engineering installed three electric charging stations for guests and public use. One of them is a fast charger and the other two regular chargers, supplied by Clever. If you are from the local area, or if you are traveling through Slagelse, you are welcome to charge your electric car at ODIN Engineering, Elmedalsvej 6.

Fortunately, a lot of drivers have already done that. More and more Danes choose an electric car when they need a new one, and we are happy to be able to supply a small part of the electricity.

We have collected some data on the consumption in the first half of 2022:

March is a high jumper

• In this period, a total of 37,046 kWh was used.

• March is the month in which the most electricity was used, namely 7,187 kWh.

• It is also in March that occupancy is highest at the stands. They were occupied 41.8 percent of the time between 07.00 and 16.00.

• The time of day when most electricity is used is between 06.00 and 08.00.

• The time of day when the occupancy of the stands is highest is between 10.00 and 11.00.

When only the coffee is good…

While you wait for your car to be charged, you can enjoy a free cup of coffee in the small coffee room that we have set up next to the charging stations. There is a coffee machine, cafe table and chairs in the coffee room, where you can also read a little about the machine factory ODIN Engineering.

• So far, the machine has delivered 470 cups of coffee.

• This corresponds to 52 cups of coffee being drunk at ODIN’s small ”café” every month.

• This also corresponds to the fact that, since 1 January, a cup of coffee has been drunk for every 118 kWh charged.
